Who calls for the utility locate?
Thomas Fence does — Arkansas law requires a utility locate through Arkansas 811 before digging, and we call it in for every project. The locate takes 2 full business days.
What utilities are NOT marked by the utility locate?
Arkansas 811 marks public utilities only. Privately owned lines — septic systems, irrigation, electric to outbuildings, and pool gas lines — are not marked, so tell your estimator about any private lines on your property.
