Post and Rail Fences

Finding The Best Fence For Your Farm

There are many farm fence options you can select to create the perfect solution for your situation. Whether you need a higher level of protection or you simply want a beautiful visual barrier around the perimeter of your property, we have the perfect solution for you!

2-Rail Farm Fences

The shortest of the farm fence, the 2-rail fence is just like it sounds with 2 wooden rails being fixed to each post around your property. This type of fence is great for decorative fences or to keep in small animals when you add wire mesh.

3-Rail Farm Fences

For more height and an extra rail for strength and protection, 3-rail farm fences are probably the most common types of agricultural fence since they can contain more animals, but also stay at a mid-range height of about 4-5 feet tall.

4-Rail Farm Fences

Choose your farm fence based on the aesthetics you are looking for as well as the height that you need. 4-rail farm fences are the tallest of rail fences and can also be fitted with wire mesh for a more secure boundary.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Farm Fences In NWA

Got a question about our farm fences or farm fence installation process? We’re here to help.

How long will it take to get my fence installed?

We understand that as a property owner you need a great fence and you need it quickly! Generally, it only takes a few days for one of our fence experts to get to most areas, walk the property, and provide you with an accurate estimate.

Once you approve the estimate, it takes around 1 to 3 weeks to begin the fence installation. To confirm the timeline of your specific project, call our office. There are times that this timeframe will be shorter, and other times it will take longer.

If you choose fencing that requires a special order, there may be a delay with the installation of your fence. Because we source these materials from manufacturers, we have no control over the shipping time. If your materials are going to be delayed, we will do our best to inform you at the beginning of your project and we will recommend alternative products whenever we can.

How much will a new wood or vinyl post and rail fence cost?

We provide free estimates! The exact price of your post and rail fence will depend on the amount of fencing you need, as well as the style and material you choose. Call our team or contact us through our online form and we will be happy to explain the process and plan an in-person estimate. Click here for a free estimate.

Before making a purchase based solely on price, we recommend contacting our expert team to get more information. There are poor-quality fence materials on the market that are not designed to last. There are also unprofessional fence installers who don’t meet industry standards, follow regulations, or cut corners to save money. These companies don’t guarantee their work, even if their so-called warranty claims they will.

Choosing the fence that will keep your business and property safe and secure is an important decision and should not be based solely on price. Farm fencing must be able to withstand the demands placed upon it, so it is essential to select a company that chooses high-quality products and meets or exceeds industry regulations.

Do you offer a warranty for your post and rail farm fences?

Thomas Fence offers a 1-year craftsmanship warranty on all of our fence installations. Our installers are trained and experienced in all types of farm fencing.
